Tip of the Day: Have the Right Tools—and Have Them at the Ready!


When it comes to tackling a project like installing a shower glass panel, preparation is key. Having the right tools and materials on hand not only makes the job easier but also ensures you get professional results without unnecessary stress.


Here are the tools and materials I used to install a piece of shower glass:


★ 2’ Square

★ Laser

★ Diamond Drill Bit

★ Razor Knife

★ Drill and Impact Gun

★ Caulking Gun

★ Flat Head Screwdriver

★ 3 Kneeling Pads

★ Drywall Carriers

★ Caulk Radius Tool

★ Blue Tape

★ Sharpie

★ Caulk

★ Marine Epoxy

★ Two 2” Stainless Screws

★ Spray Cleaner

★ Paper Towels

★ Shower Glass


Pro Tip


The glass is heavy, so you’ll need two strong people to handle the lifting. Before you start, place kneeling pads in the spot where the glass will rest—this protects both the glass and the floor while making the installation easier and safer.


With the right tools, proper preparation, and a little help, you can install a stunning piece of shower glass with confidence.
